Overview

Embark on an Alta Fjord Evening Cruise out on the dramatic and breathtaking waters. Cruise out into the sparkling water under vast skies, surrounded by low mountains and coastlines dotted with tiny towns and occasional houses. Escape the mainland and be engulfed by the beauty of the fjords.

What to expect?

The Arctic sunset is something extraordinary that needs to be witnessed first-hand. As evening descends, the sunset will light the sky on fire. Around June and July, the Midnight Sun casts vibrant colours on the surrounding mountains. Even on cloudier nights, watch as the sunset shines dramatic beams down through the clouds onto the grey and challenging water.

Along the way, you will be provided food and drinks, and as you cruise and await the sun to set, you can take refuge from the wind and play fun games with the other guests or hear stories from the captain about the local area. You will return to shore around midnight.

On this 4-6 hour tour, you will be provided with an experienced captain/guide, boat trip, safety equipment, lunch or snacks, and beverages. The team requires participants to wear suitable and warm clothing for this activity.

Please advise that as sunsets and specific kinds of weather change daily, the tour can't guarantee clear and colourful skies. But they promise the adventure will be fun regardless.

- The tour excludes transport to and from the boat but can be arranged for an extra cost.
