Tromsø Dog Sledding Weekend Package

Upon arrival, check in to your hotel, located in central Tromsø. Along with your booking confirmation you will receive a voucher for a three-star or better hotel, typically a Scandic, Thon or Radisson hotel. Present this voucher at the front desk to get your room. Your booking includes breakfast every morning for the duration of your stay.

Now explore Tromsø. Did you know that this Arctic city has a relatively large cultural offering and is renowned for its vibrant nightlife? Why not enjoy a concert in the Arctic Cathedral or explore the Tromsø Ice Domes.

Dog sledding:
Meet your guide at 08.45am or 11.45am at Radisson BLU Hotel, Tromsø. Please check the correct departure time and day on your confirmation. Travel together to the husky kennel just about an hour from Tromsø, surrounded by mighty mountains and deep valleys.

Here you will be greeted by happy huskies eagerly waiting to take you out on a fantastic dog-sledding experience. We have comfortable and warm winter suits, winter shoes, and mittens to keep you warm during the dog sledding adventure (60 to 90 minutes’ drive).

After a short explanation of how to handle the dogs and sleds, we will leave in pairs. One will be the "musher" (driver), and the other will be on the sled. You change places along the way. The huskies love to run, but you have to be part of the team and help them up the slopes. It is a fun experience, but also a little physical workout...

This trip will give you a smile on your face and red roses on your cheeks. Back in the camp, hot soup and drinks await. Our dog sledding trips include transportation, lunch, hot drinks and thermal wear (winter thermal suits, winter boots, socks, mittens and hats).
