What to expect?
Join us to an Arctic adventure that offers fun times on snowmobiles! At the beginning of the safari, we will go through the safety instructions and rules of driving. Right after this, we are ready to head to the Arctic nature!
On snowmobiles, we reach untouched parts of the forest, and we will make a pleasant journey in the surrounding nature. During the safari, we get to enjoy the fantastic landscape and beauty of winter nature. During the safari we will have coffee break along the trail.
There are many exciting things to observe, and along the way, your guide will tell you facts and stories about the Arctic nature and animals.
Please note
A valid driving license is needed on the safari (one sitting behind the driver does not need a driving license). Alcohol tolerance 0. Children are seated in a sled.
Lucky Ranch is located near Pyhä-Luosto National park at the lake Pyhäjärvi, only 10 minutes drive from the year-round activity resort and ski resort Pyhätunturi. You reach us by car, or when booking a tour with us, you can book pick up (return transfer) either from Pyhätunturi or Luosto.
The nearest airport is in Rovaniemi, approximately 1,5 – 2 hours' drive to Pyhätunturi, and the nearest railway station is in Kemijärvi from where there is a bus connection to Pyhätunturi. (Please always check the public timetable in advance. We are also glad to help you with planning your trip to us!) Welcome!

What to bring
Please wear warm winter clothing: we highly recommend merinowool underlayer, fleece/ wool midlayer, wollen socks, warm hat, warm gloves and a scarf/neckwarmer. If you need something please ask in advance. We might have some spare winter clothes to borrow.
Note that you might get hot during the trip so if you have a backpack it's good idea to take it with you. During the journey you can put the extra layers there and when having a snack break put them on.
