Kayak rental

Rent a kayak from Apukka Resort and set out to explore lake Olkkajärvi!
You can plan your route or use our pre-planned route options. About 2 km from the resort, there is a rest area managed by Apukka where you can stop during your trip, make a fire, and enjoy a picnic.
Our kayaks are designed for recreational use and are suitable for paddlers of all levels. Our kayaks model name is Rainbow Oasis max, which s an easy, sturdy, and stable kayak.The kayak is best suited for day trips but is also a great option for weekend camping trips for those with compact camping gear.
We have also inflatable kayaks that are sturdy and relatively directional, making them easier to navigate in the water.

The kayak rental always includes basic equipment: a paddle and a kayaking vest.
If you need transportation
The price of the activity includes transfers to and from Apukka Resort with our shuttle bus by showing the reservation confirmation.
The bus stops are at Rovaniemi city center (Korkalonkatu 36, Rovaniemi) and Santa Claus Village’s bus stop, situated by the main road (Road E75).

Please be at the bus stop at least 10 minutes before departure.
The transfer won’t wait, so punctuality is essential!
Notice
The age limit for renting a kayak is 15 years. Children under 15 years old can go kayaking with an adult.

Children under 18 must report their guardian's contact information when booking the kayak.
Cancellations
Full refund for cancellations made up to 24 hours before the scheduled rental time
