Kuusa: Snowmobile Safari in Lakeland Forest & Hills

Enjoy unique safari in Lakeland!

2 hour safari with private safari routes, enjoying coffee break by the fire on a viewpoint hut.

Through the forest and hills, and across slopes, our private safari routes are planned according to the experience and skills of the participants. 

Our remote tracks take you to up the hills, cross the rivers, along the lakes.

Program includes winter clothing, snowmobile instructions and snowmobile safari 2 persons per snowmobile, driving approx. 20 km, hot drink, snacks and guiding. After the safety and driving instructions, we drive by snowmobiles through snowy forests and on frozen lakes. Our skilled snowmobile guide gives you the driving techniques. During the day, we will enjoy a coffee break in the forest hut.

Duration: 2 hours

Minimum age: 18 years when driving a snowmobile.

Snowmobile safari participants are held liable for damages caused to snowmobiles hired to them. The personal liability (excess) is a maximum of 800 € per snowmobile and per accident. Minimum number of participants required for each safari is 2 full paying adults.

Note, not suitable for children under 10 years old.

Two persons per snowmobile.

For groups of 3 persons or other odd number of people, purchasing one single driver supplement is needed.

Safari includes safety breafings and all necessary equipments.
Our activity guides will meet you in Varjola main house, and we will give you all necessary details and infos for this safari.
You will have warm safari outfits also from us.

Routes on safari are varied in forest hillside and also lakeviews.

Please note

Snowmobile safari requires good snow conditions (min. 30 cm). If there is not enough snow, we cannot drive with snow scooters. When lacking enough snow, alternative safari is Quad bike safari. Quad bike safaris are available only drivers over 18 years old.

Each person driving a snowmobile must be at least 18 years old.

Two persons per snowmobile. For groups of 3 persons or other odd number of people, we highly recommend purchasing one single driver supplement.
