Experience beautiful winter sceneries and have a touch of the clear waters in freezing wintertime, while floating in the soothing ice cold water!
We are situated near Jyväskylä city, only 30 minutes drive from city center.
Lay down yourself into the frozen lake for an amazing and relaxing experience. This guided program is totally safe with high-quality suit that covers your whole body and keeps you dry. As you have your own clothing under the suit you will not get cold even in the open 0-degree water. Lying down in the ice hole between the ice blocks is something worth trying, the circumstances truly are arctic!
After floating you have time to go around the fire place and enjoy a hot drink and Varjola cookies.
You will wear a warm and dry floating suit. Arctic floating includes all necessary equipment’s.
Duration: 30 min – 1 hour
Program includes floating suits, winter swimming, hot drink, Varjola cookie and guiding in English
Minimum number of participants required for each safari is 2 full paying adults. Please note, this program is not suitable for small children, minimum height for floating is 150 cm.
Each customer is instructed well before stepping into the water. No swimming skills required, as the suit will keep you on the surface.
