Experience the magic of a nighttime snowmobile safari in Levi, Finnish Lapland! This 2-hour adventure is the perfect way to explore the arctic wilderness under the stars, with driving snowmobiles through snowy forests and frozen landscapes.

We begin our tour from our Safari House in Levi, where you’ll get all necessary equipment and safety instructions. Once you're ready, we hop on the snowmobiles and drive into the peaceful Lappish night. The route takes you through snow-covered forests, frozen lakes, and open arctic scenery, offering a thrilling and scenic ride under the northern sky.

Halfway through the ride, we make a short stop at a traditional wilderness hut. There, we warm up by the fire, enjoy a hot drink and cookies, and take in the silent beauty of Lapland. On clear evenings, there's a chance to see the Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis) dancing above the snowy trees.

This tour is ideal for those who want to experience snowmobiling in Lapland at night, with a short, cozy stop in the wilderness and a focus on the ride itself.

Please note that the northern lights are a natural phenomenon, so there is no guarantee that they will appear. This makes the experience even more exciting! The sunset on the lake and the wonderful colors of autumn is a unique experience in any case.

Please note

Things worth knowing about snowmobile safaris:

• This safari is available only as private experience.

• All snowmobiles are insured (notice self liability on snowmobile). Self liability in case of accident is max.1500 € for the Premium snowmobiles.

• The minimum age for riding a snowmobile is 18 years. The rider must possess a driving licence and this licence must be carried at all times when riding the snowmobile!

• Children are sitting on a sledge during the safari. Children over 120 cm tall can sit on the back of the snowmobile as passengers. Please note, our guide make the final decision of child´s seating regarding the safety reasons.

• Driving under influence of alcohol or drugs is prohibited. Alcohol tolerance on safaris is zero (0).

• For your own safety, please take any possible necessary medications with you on the safari (asthma inhalers, insulin, heart medicines, etc.).

• We do not recommend participating on a snowmobile safari if you are pregnant.

• Remember to wear at least the next under the thermal overall: long armed and trouser leg underwear (set of sportive underwear is good), warm socks and second layer of fleece or woolen material. Pull the thermal overall on these. Remember: Colder the weather is more layers you need!
