This snowmobile safari combines two must-do things here at Levi! 

Elves’ Experience Village combined make a unique experience destination on the quiet riverbank of the Ounasjoki river. You can feel Lapland’s enchanting magic here and breathe the cleanest air in Europe.

The destination combines two strong travel trends: nature and cultural tourism.

Our snowmobile safari will start from Kinos Safaris office (address: Myllyjoentie 4, Sirkka), and after getting dressed in warm overalls and snowmobiling gear our guides will teach you how to drive the snowmobile and our adventure can begin! We will drive through snowy forests and open marshlands enjoying the beautiful scenery until we reach the Elves VIllage. Your guide will take you on a guided tour of Elves Hideaway and after you will all enjoy a delicious luch soup and coffee at their cozy restaurant where you can also purchase some souvenirs before we start our snowmobiles and take a different route back to Levi.

• Price: Adult 150€/person in shared snowmobile | Child 114€ (under 12 years). If adult want to drive alone on own snowmobile without a passenger, the price is 175€/person.

• The distance of the safari: approx. 30 km

• Duration: 3 hours

Note! Children over 120cm tall can sit behind an adult, children under 120cm travel behind a guide in a sledge.

All drivers need to show a valid driving licence.

Please note

Things worth knowing about snowmobile safaris:

• This safari is available only as private experience.

• All snowmobiles are insured (notice self liability on snowmobile). Self liability in case of accident is max.1500 € for the Premium snowmobiles.

• The minimum age for riding a snowmobile is 18 years. The rider must possess a driving licence and this licence must be carried at all times when riding the snowmobile!

• Children are sitting on a sledge during the safari. Children over 120 cm tall can sit on the back of the snowmobile as passengers. Please note, our guide make the final decision of child´s seating regarding the safety reasons.

• Driving under influence of alcohol or drugs is prohibited. Alcohol tolerance on safaris is zero (0).

• For your own safety, please take any possible necessary medications with you on the safari (asthma inhalers, insulin, heart medicines, etc.).

• We do not recommend participating on a snowmobile safari if you are pregnant.

• Remember to wear at least the next under the thermal overall: long armed and trouser leg underwear (set of sportive underwear is good), warm socks and second layer of fleece or woolen material. Pull the thermal overall on these. Remember: Colder the weather is more layers you need!
