Rovaniemi: Ice Fishing & Floating Arctic Day

After the hotel pick-up, head to a place called Norvajärvi, and get ready to step into the magical snowy forest for a snowy and icy experience.

At the lake, you will start ice fishing. The guide will show you the way to use the equipment to drill a hole in the icy lake. Drop your line, sit back, and wait for the fish to bite. The sight of a calm and peaceful nature allows you to relax, as you enjoy the scenery. Gather around the bonfire afterward, grill some salmon with bread, and taste the Lappish delicious cuisine as you warm up with a steaming blueberry tea.

After you refresh yourself with a barbecue, put on a floating survival suit and head to the open water area. Gaze up the sky as you float soundly in the lake. 

Departure: any time between 08:30 and 09:30

Duration: 6-7 hours

Small group activity: each tour is conducted with a maximum of 8 people plus 1 guide for a smoother and more private experience.

Please note

• Customer must be at least 130cm in order to fit in the floating suit

• If you have any questions or concerns regarding the sizing of the floating suit, we encourage you to reach out to us prior to booking the tour

• At least 2 people are required for this tour to take place on weekdays and Saturdays

• At least 4 people are required for this tour to take place on Sundays and public holidays

• Children aged 12 and under must be accompanied by adults paying the full price

• Please be ready and wait in your hotel lobby 10 minutes prior to your scheduled pickup time
