Rovaniemi: Highlights of Rovaniemi Day Tour

Explore the Lapland's capital town, Rovaniemi, and experience life in the Arctic.

You will visit Santa´s Arctic Wildlife Park, where you will have the chance to see and visit Santa´s favorite Arctic animals.

The next activity awaiting you is the climax of the tour involves the iconic character of Rovaniemi, Santa Claus. Visit the Santa Claus Village and get a certificate for crossing the Arctic Circle line, spend your time in the fairy-tale village full of shops with arctic products, and of course, meet the Santa Claus himself! Inside the village is an official Santa Claus post office, where the elves will help you sending a message to your loved ones with the special stamp.

After this incredible experience, you will get the opportunity to climb to the highest point of Rovaniemi, known as Ounasvaara.

Finally, you will learn everything about this region in the Arktikum museum, where you will see the exhibition of Arctic animals, the indigenous people Sami, and local history from the ice age to the present. You can also find information and displays of the Northern lights.
