Rovaniemi: Northern Lights Hunt with Lappish BBQ

Finnish Lapland, one of the best ideal place to spot the Northern Lights, you will hunt for the magical lights surrounded by an astonishing view of the sparkling snow-covered nature!

Your guide provides you with a pick-up and drop-off at your hotel/accommodation, and you will be taken about 20 km away from the city to a beautiful natural Lappish forest, where there is no light pollution, the ideal place to spot this magnificent natural phenomenon. 

Surrounded by the spectacular Arctic landscapes, you will be in the middle of untouched nature with millions of stars up above your head. Once there, you will be provided with a traditional Lappish barbecue with warm blueberry juice, and your guide will tell you all about the Northern Lights its tales and stories.

• Departure time may vary depending on the seasons and availability, please kindly check the email we send to you for the exact pick-up time and pick up location after making reservations online.

• From December to the end of January, Rovaniemi experiences a very high level of tourist traffic, which is why we often have to form exceptionally large groups for this activity. For a more private experience, we recommend that you book our Small Group tour instead.

• Northern Lights sightings cannot be guaranteed due to they are subject to weather conditions and the solar activity. The tour guide and driver will try their best to find a suitable viewing location. If it is cloudy on the day of the activity and the lights cannot be observed, refund will not be provided. Thank you for your understanding.

• At least 2 people are required for this tour to take place on weekdays and Saturdays

• At least 4 people are required for this tour to take place on Sundays and public holidays
