Rovaniemi: Ice Floating under the Northern Lights

Join us for a truly unique experience watching the Northern Lights. Let's float in a warm and dry survival suit in one of the Lapland's frozen lakes! Enjoy Lapland's Northern Lights while floating in the icy lake dressed in a survival suit, keeping you warm no matter the temperature outside. 

There are many ways to see the Northern Lights, but this is the most unique and relaxing way to view it. After this unique experience you will warm your body up with some hot drinks and gingerbread.

*The freezing of lakes depends on the temperature, if the weather is not cold enough, the lake may not completely freeze.

Departure: Any time between 16:00 and 20:30

Duration: 2.5 hours

Please note:

• The Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon dependent on weather and solar wind activity, so it can't be guaranteed

• Customer must be at least 130cm in order to fit in the floating suit

• If you have any questions or concerns regarding the sizing of the floating suit, we encourage you to reach out to us prior to booking the tour.

• At least 2 people are required for this tour to take place

• At least 4 people are required for this tour to take place on Sunday  

• Children aged 11 and under must be accompanied by adults paying the full price

• Please be ready and wait in your hotel lobby 10 minutes prior to your scheduled pickup time
