Your guide picks you up from your accommodation and begins the night by checking real-time aurora forecasts and cloud data. Based on this information, we choose the best direction for the chase and drive away from city lights toward clearer skies.

Our first stop is usually at a handpicked viewing location such as a frozen lake, a forest clearing, or an open field. Here, you can enjoy hot drinks and cookies while we scan the sky for signs of the aurora.

If the sky isn’t clear enough at the first location, we continue the chase. Because this is a guaranteed tour, we are ready to travel to several different locations, adjusting the route according to cloud movement and aurora activity until we find the best possible conditions.

When the Northern Lights appear, your guide captures professional photos and also helps you take beautiful aurora pictures with your own camera or phone. We stay as long as needed to ensure that everyone has a memorable viewing experience.
