Northern Lights Unlimited Chase – Itinerary

Your Arctic guide will pick you up from your accommodation in Rovaniemi. After a short briefing about the aurora forecast, weather conditions, and the plan for the night, we begin our Northern Lights adventure.

We drive toward the clearest sky available, following real-time cloud movements, solar activity, and live aurora data. This is an unlimited-kilometer chase, meaning we go as far as needed to give you the best possible chance of seeing the Northern Lights.

Throughout the night, we stop at several beautiful viewing spots, such as frozen lakes, open fields, and quiet forest clearings. At each place, the guide checks the sky and decides whether to stay or continue the chase to a better location.

A professional camera is used to capture stunning photos of the aurora for you, and your guide will also help you take pictures with your own phone or camera.

During the chase, we take a cozy break to enjoy warm drinks and freshly baked cookies, helping you stay comfortable in the cold Arctic night.

We hunt the aurora with passion and expertise, always moving toward the clearest skies. Once we have enjoyed the lights and captured your memorable photos, we drive back to Rovaniemi. Drop-off at your accommodation is included.
