Rovaniemi: Snowmobiling under the Northern Lights

Northern Finland is full of marvelous places for watching the Northern Lights. There are many ways to get out of the city and see the Aurora, but nothing is more adventurous than chasing the Northern Lights with snowmobile. Riding across the snow under the stars is one of the most thrilling experience.

Your final destination is the magical frozen lake of the Arctic. Your guide will tell you tales and stories about the spectacular phenomenon, Northern lights, as you wait for them to appear above you. 

You will ride the snowmobile in pairs (twin riding), a driver and a passenger on each snowmobile, with the opportunity to switch during the ride. If you choose the solo driving option, you will ride alone on your own snowmobile.

Departure: Any time between 18:00 and 20:00
Duration: 3-4 hours

Please note:

• Departure time may vary depending on the seasons and availability, please kindly check the email we send to you for the exact pick-up time and pick up location after making reservations online.

• Northern Lights sightings cannot be guaranteed due to they are subject to weather conditions and the solar activity

• Children under 4 years old are not recommended to attend this tour

• Other guide languages available on request (German, French, Italian, Spanish, Chinese)

• At least 2 people are required for this tour to take place on weekdays and Saturdays.

• At least 4 people are required for this tour to take place on Sundays and public holidays.

• Twin driving means that the person has to share the snowmobile.

• If the child is 150 cm or taller, they can be seated on the snowmobile paying the adult's price

• If the child is shorter than 150 cm, they must be seated in the sled pulled by the snowmobile, which is driven by our guide

• Please be ready and wait in your hotel lobby 10 minutes prior to your scheduled pickup time

• Drivers must have valid driving licenses and be at least 18 years old.
