What to bring

Please bring your own swimsuit (unless you prefer to enjoy the sauna the traditional Finnish way -naked).

We also recommend bringing extra drinking water to stay well hydrated, as sauna sessions can lead to significant sweating.

If you are staying overnight, please make sure to bring all necessary personal clothing, suitable sleepwear (including warm layers and wool socks), and any hygiene items you may need.

Travel notice

The experience is always private for intimacy reasons. We recommend to book in advance, as availability may be limited in peak seasons.
The price apply to the whole group (max. 6 participants). The wilderness sauna can accommodate up to 6 people. Please inform us beforehand if some participants are overweight, so we may arrange the sauna in a comfortable way.
Children from 4 years old are tolerated on this tour, but long sauna exposition is not recommended for children under 8 years old. In Winter, the conditions may be very cold (-30C) and the wilderness cottage cannot be warmed to standard temperatures.
Please dress appropriately according to the weather. We also recommend to bring extra drinks and an extra clothing set with you for after sauna. Adults may bring their own alcoholic drinks (like beers or local long drinks) for sauna time, but we require a moderate alcohol consumption.
About sauna: the sauna takes a very important place in  the traditions and culture of Finland. Finns normally go to sauna naked but it is possible to use your own swimsuit. Sauna stands for the bathroom in the wilderness cabins ; after enjoying the steam sauna, you may then take a natural shower with the hot clean waters!
