Rovaniemi: Visit a Lappish Reindeer Farm in the Summer

Visit the Lappish Reindeer Farm and meet with an genuine Lappish herders. They will introduce the daily life of the Arctic reindeer herders for you. The reindeer on the farm are semi-domesticated. The ownership of all the reindeer is owned by the herdsman.

In northern Lapland, reindeer herding is still one of the most important sources of income for many local residents. During the visit you can feed the reindeer and take picture with them. Gather and enjoy Lappish snacks and hot drinks while listening to the owner explain the unique stories of such a special animal.
