Rovaniemi: Family Husky Visit & 8–10 KM Sledding Ride Tour

Here you will be with your family or friends far away from the crowded locations. You will have your own husky team and get to drive the sled on easy terrain so almost everyone is able to do it. If you prefer to sit in the sled that is always possible too. 

You will make new friends with huskies and locals while you are visiting their home and seeing the real local way of life of husky mushers.

This is a lovely experience for families with small children. At the husky home the family lives with 27 huskies and a cat. You can join them and feel part of the team. You will learn how to drive the sled and the children can sit in the sled wrapped in the warmth of a winter sleeping bag. 

You will cross easy terrain, over the frozen lake. The tour length is about 8-10 km depending on snow condition and driving skills. 

After ride we will have some hot drinks at campfire.

• Child (age 0 – 7): €120

• Child (age 8 – 13): €140

• Accessible for those with limited mobility

Please be aware temperatures can be extremely cold, down to -30º C on cold days. We provide warm coats, gloves and hats though please wear appropriate under clothing such as merino base layers.
