Traversing forests, frozen wetlands and glistening snowscapes, we head for our private Lappish kota shelter and the welcome warmth of the open fire.

What to expect?
We provide personal service and small groups!
Our guide will give you all the necessary clothing, equipment and tuition for riding the snowmobile, after which we ride to our private Lappish kota shelter.
This snowmobile safari brings you in direct contact with Lapland’s handsome nature in the nearby Ylläs snow capes. At the Lappish kota, our guide makes feather sticks to light the fire for preparing a sooty pot coffee. In a Lappish kota shelter we will also enjoy delicious cold-smoked reindeer meat flatbread wraps and a bun.
Our return to civilization is welcomed by the grand Yllästunturi fell highlands.

Duration of this safari is approx. 4-4,5 hours, including transfers and driving kilometres is approx. 30km.
The price of 164,00€ is for one person when two people share one snowmobile.
This safari is part of our winter weekly programme: valid from December to April. Registration for weekly programme departures must be made by 24 hours on the day before departure. Minimum is 2 adults.
Third party and comprehensive insurance is included. Self liability in case of accident is max.1500 €.
The minimum age for riding a snowmobile is 18 years. The rider must possess a driving licence and this licence must be carried at all times when riding the snowmobile!
Remember, that driving a snowmobile has a same risks as driving any other motor vehicle. In case of accident, you might get hurt!
Child discount is -50% (4 - 12 years). Children are sitting on a sledge during the safari. Children over 140 cm tall can sit on the back of the snowmobile as passengers, if there are places available. Please note, our guide make the final decision of child's seating regarding the safety reasons.
The drink driving rules are the same as for cars: Don’t drink and drive!
We do not recommend participating on a snowmobile safari if you are pregnant.

Note: A valid driver's license is required to operate the snowmobile
What to bring
If you are driving a snowmobile, please remember to take your driving licence with you. Wear warm clothes under the thermal overall. Long underwear (set of sportive underwear is good), warm socks and a second layer of fleece or woolen material. For your own safety, please take any possible necessary medications with you on the safari (asthma inhalers, insulin, heart medicines, etc.).
