Join us on our Farm Visit & Riding Tour to discover the renowned Icelandic horse, its captivating history, and the dedicated individuals who care for them.
Our journey begins with a convenient pick-up from your location. Upon arrival at the farm, you’ll have the unique opportunity to participate in preparing the horses for the ride, immersing yourself in the care and connection with these majestic animals. Then, embark on a one-hour horseback adventure, gliding across the ice if weather conditions permit, offering a thrilling and unforgettable experience. After the ride, delve into farm life with a visit to our sheep, gaining insight into the daily rhythms of our pastoral existence.
The entire experience spans approximately 4 hours, ensuring ample time to fully immerse yourself in the beauty of our surroundings and the companionship of our equine friends. The Farm is situated near Grenivík Village, about 30 minute drive from Akureyri.
