Engimýri Lodge is a beautifully situated guesthouse lodge in the middle of Öxnadalur Valley, surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery, including lava. We are located within a 30-minute drive from Akureyri.
The whole area is an excellent mountaineering country and the weather is as fine as you're likely to encounter anywhere in the Icelandic mountains.
