What to expect?
The adventure commences at our main base where you'll gear up and familiarize yourself with the ATVs/Quads. Following a safety briefing, we set off, traversing small rivers and streams to reach the sandy beach, a landscape shaped by the dormant volcano, Katla.
After reveling in a thrilling ride on the black beach, we pause at the iconic DC3 plane wreck site, a vantage point offering breathtaking views of the Mýrdalsjökull glacier and the expansive black coastline stretching to Dyrhólaey, Iceland's southernmost point.
Having absorbed the magnificent sights, our journey continues to the river Jökulsá, advancing to the foot of Mt. Heiðarhorn. We then wind our way back to the base, traveling along the mountainous terrain.
This tour invites you to immerse yourself in the stark beauty of the black lava sand landscape of Iceland's south coast. It's an unforgettable experience, presenting a tapestry of contrasting vistas where nature cradles travelers in a warm embrace.

A valid driver´s license is required. 2 persons share the same ATV
Solo travelers and groups of odd number need to pay a single rider fee at location
Children 7 years and younger are not permitted on this tour.
