What to expect?
Perfect trip for the experienced mountain bike rider. Get a taste of Iceland MTB. Rugged and raw, fast and flowy. Expect a super fun mix of steep fast up & down flowy trails with some technical sections to spice up the ride. Ride the best trails in area of dormant volcano Hengill, the backyard of our Trailcenter. E-mtb’s are the perfect tool for the area, start by the geothermal river and we work our way up to the mountains through a geothermally active area, crossing beautiful valleys on our way towards the top of Hengill. The trails we ride are a result of collaboration between old post trails, sheeptrails and man made hike and mtb trails. Icebike guides volunteer in the area to create and maintain trails for mtb riding.
