Over 4 days and 3 nights, discover the breathtaking scenery from Reykjavík along the Golden Circle and South Coast, onward to the Glacier Lagoon region, and finally exploring the Snæfellsnes Peninsula. Your adventure begins with iconic Golden Circle landmarks and waterfalls, continues along dramatic coastlines, black sand beaches, and glaciers, and concludes with glacier hiking, ice caving, and the striking landscapes of Snæfellsjökull National Park.
Stay in comfortable accommodation and explore Iceland’s unique landscapes throughout the itinerary. Travel in a well-equipped minibus with an experienced guide, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable trip. Transportation between tour locations, guided activities, and accommodation are all included.
Simply arrive in Reykjavík on your selected date and follow the program. Book your return flight from Reykjavík after the tour ends on Day 4. This guided holiday is suitable for anyone of normal health and ready for light outdoor activities.
Day 1: Explore the Golden Circle & South Coast
On the first day, embark on an unforgettable journey through Iceland's renowned Golden Circle. Start with a visit to Þingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site where you can see the unique rift valley between tectonic plates. Next, witness the awe-inspiring Gullfoss waterfall and explore the famous Geysir geothermal area. Afterward, head towards the South Coast to marvel at the breathtaking Seljalandsfoss waterfall, where you can walk behind the cascading water. End the day at your hotel near Vík.
Day 2: Discover Glaciers & Ice Caves
Day two takes you further along the South Coast, where you’ll visit the stunning Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon, followed by sightseeing at Diamond Beach, where icebergs from the lagoon wash up on the shore.
You can also choose to add a thrilling Crystal Ice Cave tour to your package.
On the return journey, stop for dinner in the charming town of Vík, or enjoy a relaxing evening back at your hotel. This day combines adventure and scenic wonders, showcasing Iceland’s incredible glacier landscapes and dramatic coastal beauty.
Day 3: Hike Black Sand Beaches & Visit Waterfalls
The final day begins with a visit to Reynisfjara, Iceland’s famous black sand beach with its striking basalt columns and powerful Atlantic waves. After the hike, stop at the iconic Skógafoss waterfall for lunch and sightseeing.
Day 4: Explore the Snæfellsnes Peninsula
Escape to the magical Snaefellsnes Peninsula on the final day of this tour.
Explore the dramatic cliffs of Arnarstapi, marvel at the iconic Kirkjufell mountain and its nearby Kirkjufellsfoss waterfall. Walk the black sands of Djúpalónssandur beach. With the backdrop of mystical Snæfellsjökull glacier, the inspiration for Jules Verne’s Journey to the Center of the Earth, you will experience Snæfellsjökull National Park‘s unique charm.
