Our fabulous escorted tour takes you both to classic nature hot spots and lesser-known sights around Iceland's famous Ring Road. The tour includes several soft adventures and Icelandic cultural visits including visits to two of Iceland's beautiful National Parks.Some of the main highlights include Goðafoss waterfall, Lake Mývatn, Dimmuborgir lava labyrinth, Europe´s biggest glacier - Vatnajökull, Jökulsárlón glacial lagoon, Reynisfjara shore, Þingvellir National Park, Gullfoss waterfall and the Geysir geothermal field.Enjoy small fishing villages, scenic fjord landscapes, geological wonders, bizarre lava formations, bubbling mud pools, an alpine environment, lava fields, glaciers and erupting hot springs.On this tour, you will spend your overnights in hotels situated at the chosen destinations along the way.Please note: The total mileage without airport transfer is 1.665 km (1.032 miles), which is an average of 278 km (172 miles) per day. You spend about 4 hours per day on the bus, depending on road conditions, traffic, and daily distances. On some days the driving might be longer than on some other days.During the off-season, from September to May, in rare cases, a change of itinerary might be necessary especially for winter programs in Iceland. Should snow, road and weather conditions not allow to follow the scheduled itinerary, certain outdoor activities/day trips might be cancelled. In this case, no refund will be given, but GJ-Travel will try to find reasonable alternatives where and whenever possible.
