Our Glacier Lagoon Tour with Boat Ride is destined to enlighten your vacation. We will take you along the south of Iceland to explore the breathtaking glacial landscape and wildlife at Jökulsárlón, and a chance to sail in between the ever-changing icebergs.

What to expect?
Join us on a glacial mission and sail in-between the icebergs on our Glacier Lagoon tour including the sailing experience.
This 14 hour tour takes you straight from the capital to Iceland's icy treasure and allows you to explore the ever changing glacial landscape, colours and forms. The Glacier lagoon, Jökulsárlón leaves no one untouched with its stunning beauty and the exploration by boat, in between the icebergs truly adds to the experience. Part of the glacial wonders, and not to be missed, is the black volcanic and ice speckled, Diamond Beach. You will also visit the nearby Fjallsárlón glacier lagoon (if time allows) and the hidden gem Stjórnarfoss waterfall.
The scenic landscape along the South Coast screams out for a couple of mandatory stops. We'll enjoy optional dinner and beach time at Vík Village where Reynisdrangar seastacks and petrified trolls run the scene. Seljalandsfoss waterfall that welcomes us with it's mighty drop, fresh water and a quick adventure behind the falls when conditions are good, before we head back to civilisation.
Start of the Tour after pick-up at 10-11 Kringlan
Pick-up from accommodations and special Tour Bus Stops in central Reykjavik is between 07:00 and 07:30. Then the buses meet at 10-11 Kringlan and the tour departs from there at 07:30.
1. Stop at Hvolsvöllur 15 minutes
This stop is aimed to get a small breakfast if needed and to use the bathroom before heading to the first attraction of the tour.

3. Stop in Freysnes 40 minutes
Freysnes is surrounded by mountains, glaciers and rests of glacier bursts. On this stop you can either enjoy the fantastic views or get some food in the restaurant.
4. Stop at Glacier Lagoon and Diamond Beach 90 minutes
Glacier Lagoon is the largest and the deepest glacier lagoon in Iceland, located in the south east part of Iceland. The lagoon branches from Breiðamerkurjökull, an outlet glacier of the Vatnajokull glacier the largest glacier in Europe. You will be going on a 30 minutes boat ride on the lagoon.
Diamond Beach displays the contrast between black sand and chunks of ice which get washed up from the Glacier Lagoon.

This stop is seasonal. It might also be dropped if conditions are misty of visibility for photo opportunities are limited
5. Stop in Vík í Mýrdal 45 minutes
With only just about 320 inhabitants does Vík have a lot to offer. You can either have some dinner in one of the restaurants or in summer when it's still bright at this time of day, take a short walk to the beach to have a look at the famous Reynisdrangar.
6. Stop at Seljalandsfoss Waterfall 20 minutes
This magnificent waterfall is 66 meters high and let's you even walk around it. But be careful: You might be soaked afterwards. On a good day you will also be seeing the Westman Islands or Vestmannaeyjar from here.
End of the tour at Skógarhlíð 10
After drop-off we will head to our headquarter at Skógarhlíð 10.
