Thingvellir National Park

The first stop is Þingvellir National Park and UNESCO World Heritage site. Here the parliament of Iceland was established in the year 930 and continued to meet until 1798, when it was moved to Reykjavik. The area shows its geological importance with the huge rift valley, created by the drift of the mid-Atlantic ridge.

Geysir

Continue to Geysir geothermal area with its colorful deposits of yellow sulfur, the red oxidized iron rocks, and light grey deposits of Silica. While the original Geysir remains dormant, witness Strokkur erupting every 4-8 minutes, shooting water up to 40 meters into the air. This dramatic display of nature's power is a sight you won't forget.

Gullfoss Waterfall

Marvel at Gullfoss, the 'Golden Falls', that cascades into a deep gorge. Hear the roaring sound of the waterfall and feel the mist on your face. Sometimes you can see rainbows in the water spray.

Natural Ice Cave Visit: Every ice cave is unique. Each season reveals a new and amazing ice wonder. Natural ice caves are sculpted by the ever-changing glacier. Due to Iceland's volcanic activity, the glaciers often contain black volcanic ash from eruptions centuries ago, frozen within the ice. Marvel at the glittering facets of the crystal-clear ice, black ash frozen in time, and the subtle blue hues of the denser ice.

Photographer's Paradise: Inside the ice cave, glittering walls and a calm atmosphere greet you. Outside, the large glacier and nearby views are just as stunning.

Gullfoss Meeting Point: We head back to Gullfoss waterfall to meet your bus that will bring you back to Reykjavik.
