What to expect?
Start your day with our professional and friendly guide picking you up in a comfortable minibus for a unique adventure. We'll begin by snorkeling in Silfra, a fissure in the stunning Thingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Your experienced PADI Divemaster guide will provide a safety briefing before providing all necessary snorkeling equipment, including a drysuit, thermal undersuit, and snorkel gear.
As you snorkel in Silfra, you'll witness the mesmerizing shades of blue and explore the underwater flora canyon walls. A fascinating highlight is swimming between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates, an iconic feature of Thingvellir. The journey will take you through Silfra Hall and Silfra Cathedral, offering captivating views.
Next, we'll visit Thingvellir National Park, where the tectonic plates move apart, providing a unique geological view. The park also houses Iceland's largest natural lake, abundant with diverse fish and birdlife. It holds significant historical importance, being the location where Icelanders founded their parliament in 930 A.D.
The adventure continues to the breathtaking Gullfoss waterfall, where melting water from Langjökull glacier cascades into a deep canyon, creating a majestic sight, especially on sunny days with rainbows enhancing its beauty.
We'll then explore the Geysir geothermal area, featuring vibrant hot springs and the famous geyser "Strokkur," erupting every 5 minutes up to 40 meters.
Don't hesitate! Join us on this epic tour and experience the wonders of Silfra, the Golden Circle, and more in Iceland's incredible landscape.
