Check in at the sales office at Aegisgardur 5b, 101 Reykjavík, 30 minutes before departure. The tour lasts 1.5–2.5 hours, depending on when the lights appear, and pick-up service is available 45 minutes before the tour if added. Weather conditions can affect the tour, and sightings are never guaranteed, though free return tours or vouchers are offered if the lights don’t appear.

Meet at the Harbor
Arrive at Reykjavík’s Old Harbour 30 minutes before departure.
Check in, meet your expert guide, and receive a short safety briefing.
Boarding & Departure

Sail out into the North Atlantic, leaving the city lights behind for a clearer view of the sky.
Searching for the Aurora Borealis
Admire the twinkling lights of Reykjavík from the water.
If the aurora appears, enjoy a spectacular light show with the city skyline and mountains as a backdrop.
Return to the Harbor
After 1.5–2 hours at sea, sail back to Reykjavík’s Old Harbour.

The tour takes about 1.5-2.5 hours depending on how early/late the lights might appear.
If you added pick-up service to your tour the car will be there 45 minutes before departure.
Weather is a big factor for the tour, we may have to cancel the tour due to unfavorable weather conditions.
The tour takes place in wild nature, sightings cannot be predicted or guaranteed. If there are no sightings on the tour, we do not offer refunds but instead, we offer our passengers a free return to join our tour depending on availability or receive a voucher valid for up to three years.
