This is due to its variety of natural attractions.The peninsula comprises a world of diversity, volcanic craters, lava fields, black beaches, waterfalls, glaciers, lush meadows, colorful mountains, and friendly villages. At the end of the 90 km long peninsula is the mystical and magical Snæfellsjökull Glacier and Volcano. The Glacier sits atop of a stratovolcano that took center stage in Jules Verne's novel and movie, Journey to the Center of the Earth, and its crater is the entrance into earth.The Snæfellsnes Peninsula is rich in culture and history with many of the Icelandic sagas taking place there. So, you will be learning the history and tales of Iceland.
What to bring
Lunch is not included but can be bought on the tour. Please let us know if you like to include lunch! Bring warm and waterproof clothes, gloves and headwear, and good shoes. Lunch can be bought on the way. A camera is always good to have.
