What to expect?
Snorkel in the world-famous Silfra fissure on a unique wetsuit snorkeling tour from Reykjavik. This unforgettable experience takes place at one of the top dive sites in the world, known for its incredible visibility and pristine freshwater.
Silfra is located in Þingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates drift apart. As you float through this underwater canyon, you are literally snorkeling between two continents.
Adventure Vikings is the only company in Iceland offering wetsuit snorkeling in Silfra, allowing you to dive below the surface and fully explore the underwater landscape. While colder than a drysuit, the wetsuit offers greater freedom and a more immersive experience—no diving license required.
The water clarity in Silfra is exceptional, with visibility reaching over 100 meters, creating a feeling of weightless flight. All equipment is provided, and your guide will capture free underwater photos to remember the experience.
After the snorkel, warm up with hot chocolate before heading back to Reykjavik. This is a truly unique adventure that combines nature, geology, and pure wonder.
