What to expect?
On our whale watching tours, you have a great chance to see magnificent sea giants like minke whales, humpback whales, white-beaked dolphins, and harbour porpoises. Expert guides share fascinating facts, biology, and fun stories while you enjoy beautiful views around Reykjavik, so don’t forget your camera.
Puffins live just a short ride from the Old Harbour in Reykjavík. Our small boat, Skúlaskeið (“Old Skúli”), has a shallow draft that allows us to get close to the islands where the puffins nest. Guides provide insight into the thriving birdlife of the area.
Depending on your schedule, you can combine whale watching and puffin tours. Early departures allow you to take the CLASSIC or EXPRESS whale tour first, then join the puffin tour at 12:30. Later departures let you explore Reykjavik in the morning before hopping on the 12:30 puffin tour and the 14:00 EXPRESS whale tour.

What to bring
It’s smart to bring a warm jacket, hat, and gloves, as it can get chilly on the water. Sunglasses and sunscreen are useful on sunny days, and a camera or phone will help capture wildlife moments. Waterproof shoes or boots are also handy if you want to stay dry.
