Day 1: Arrive in Oslo

Arrive in Norway’s vibrant capital, Oslo, and begin your journey with a private transfer from Oslo Airport to your comfortable 3- or 4-star hotel, where you’ll check in for a two-night stay.

Once settled, take the rest of the day to explore at your own pace. Stroll along Karl Johans gate, the city’s lively main street, or visit nearby landmarks like the Royal Palace, the Oslo Opera House, or the Aker Brygge waterfront. If you prefer a more relaxed start, unwind at a cozy café and soak in the Scandinavian atmosphere.

In the evening, discover Oslo’s thriving culinary scene, whether it’s a fine-dining experience or a casual meal at a local eatery. Rest up for an exciting journey ahead!

Day 2: Explore Oslo’s City Center 

Start your day with breakfast before taking a short stroll to the University of Oslo to meet your guide.

At 10:00 am, enjoy the Essential Oslo City Center Guided Walking Tour (2 hours), exploring Karl Johans gate, the Royal Palace, Parliament, and the Oslo Opera House while learning about the city’s rich history.

After the tour, spend the rest of the day at leisure. Visit museums, take a ferry to Bygdøy, or relax at a café in Aker Brygge. In the evening, savor Oslo’s vibrant dining scene before heading back to your hotel.

Day 3: Travel the Norway in a Nutshell route, from Oslo to Bergen by Rail and Cruise

Start the day with a short stroll to Oslo Central Station. Your Norway in a Nutshell tour awaits. This is an unforgettable 12-hour journey through Norway’s most breathtaking landscapes.

Travel on the Bergen Railway, one of the world’s most scenic train rides, passing rugged mountains, lush valleys, and pristine fjords before arriving at Myrdal (1:04 pm). From here, board the famous Flåm Railway, a spectacular ride through deep ravines and cascading waterfalls.

Enjoy a stop in Flåm before embarking on a stunning UNESCO-listed Nærøyfjord cruise, gliding through towering cliffs and charming villages. Continue by bus to Voss (5:48 pm), passing dramatic fjord landscapes, before taking the final train to Bergen.

Upon arrival, walk a few minutes to your 4-star hotel for a 2-night stay, where your luggage will already be waiting (porter service included). Spend the rest of the evening at leisure, exploring Bergen’s charming streets or enjoying a relaxing dinner by the waterfront.

Day 4: Explore Bergen and Sail the Fjords Overnight

Begin your day with a guided walking tour of Bergen's historic UNESCO heritage center. Discover the city's fascinating past and vibrant present as you explore Bryggen Wharf, the historic Fish Market, and charming alleyways filled with stories of Bergen’s maritime heritage.

After the tour, take a short walk to Fløibanen and ride the famous Fløibanen Funicular to the top of Mount Fløyen for panoramic views of Bergen and its surrounding fjords.

In the afternoon, pick up your bags from the hotel and walk to Bergen Cruise Harbor. In the early evening, board your overnight Atlantic Fjord Cruise to Ålesund with Hurtigruten or Havila, where you'll relax in a comfortable interior cabin while sailing through Norway’s stunning coastal scenery. Wake up to stunning coastal views as your overnight fjord cruise arrives in Ålesund. From the harbor, take a short 100-meter walk to your 4-star hotel, where you’ll check in for a two-night stay.

Optional: Private Trollstigen Scenic Road Trip with Minibus. Opt for a private minibus tour this day, or spend your day in Ålesund exploring at leisure. Wander through Ålesund’s charming streets, admire its unique Art Nouveau architecture, or visit Mount Aksla for breathtaking panoramic views of the city and surrounding fjords.

You'll have approximately two hours at leisure in Geiranger village, just enough time for a quick lunch and some local exploration.

After returning to Ålesund in the early evening, spend the rest of the day at leisure. Explore more of the city’s Art Nouveau charm, visit the Ålesund Aquarium, or relax at a cozy café overlooking the harbor. End the evening with a delicious seafood dinner before unwinding at your hotel.

Day 7: End your Adventure in Oslo

After an incredible journey through Norway’s landscapes, it's time to head home. Enjoy a final breakfast before a transfer to Ålesund Airport for your flight to Oslo Airport.

From there, connect to your departure flight home, taking with you unforgettable memories of majestic fjords, scenic train rides, and charming Nordic cities.
