Overview
Kayak polo is most reminiscent of handball, but is naturally played from a kayak.
What to expect?
WHAT IS KAYAK POLO?
Kayak polo is a dynamic and fun sport that most closely resembles handball—only played in kayaks. The concept is simple: keep track of your kayak, your paddle, the ball, your opponents, and your balance.
The kayaks used are stable and easy to maneuver, making the game accessible to beginners. It’s so straightforward that we confidently say:
Kayak polo is a sport anyone can enjoy.
PRACTICAL INFORMATION & RECOMMENDATIONS
We’ve designed our guidelines carefully to ensure everyone has the best possible experience. While it might be tempting to book, for example, 1 hour of kayak polo for 11 or 12 people, our strong recommendation is a maximum of 10 participants.
Kayak polo is played on our courts with 3-on-3 teams in short matches lasting 10–12 minutes. We recommend that each participant plays at least three matches. This ensures everyone gets about 35–45 minutes of playtime.
In the first match, you’ll learn how to handle the kayak.
In the second, you’ll start to understand tactics.
By the third match, you’ll feel confident and skilled in the game.
Compared to other group activities, kayak polo is affordable—so we encourage you not to cut corners on time. Prioritize a great experience for everyone, even if your schedule is tight.
