Trondheim: Single Sit-on-top Kayak Rentals

Rentals are available for durations ranging from two to eight hours, with pick-up and return times flexible within your session, as long as it’s before dark. It’s important to note that all renters must have a våttkort to rent sea kayaks. For sit-on-top and SUP kayaks, a våttkort is not required, but without one, your paddling distance will be limited. During winter, when the water temperature drops below 12 degrees, you must bring your own drysuit or rent one from us.

Before you depart, please check the weather conditions. If the wind speed exceeds 5 m/s, we are happy to provide a voucher for you to book another day. Simply email your booking reference to info@trondheimkajakk.no. For those interested in overnight trips, it is possible to book multiple sessions, subject to availability. Children aged 13 and above must be accompanied by an adult and supervised at all times.

Once you have booked, you will receive an email with instructions, including a code for the kit box. Wear clothing appropriate for the weather, and bring water, sunscreen, and waterproofs as necessary. We recommend using a dry bag for your belongings. Please ensure you take all rubbish with you and spray down all kayaks and SUP boards with fresh water after your trip
