What to expect?
The Igloo Hotel has an area of 2,500 m2 and it takes 250 tonnes of ice and 7,000 m3 of snow to build it. We harvest the ice from Sierravann, which is only a few kilometers further in to the Alta Valley from Sorrisniva, and we produce the snow using the water from the famous Alta River located only a meters away from the hotel.
The Igloo Hotel is open from December 20th until April 7th for overnight stays and visitations.
