From Alta: 3-Day Dog Sledding & Overnight Stay in Forest Cabin

Itinerary:

Day 1: Meet the huskies and give dog sledding a try

Check in to your forest cabin at the kennel. Participate in a 1-hour dog sledding tour and get comfortable with the huskies. Cozy up with our beautiful Alaskan huskies and settle into this very special environment.

After having tried dog sledding and become acquainted with the dogs, you also know if your clothes are good enough for the cold or whether you need something extra for your big adventure the next day!

Day 2: Dog sledding wilderness adventure

Wake up refreshed and ready for action! We start out with a longer trip of approx. 6 hours in the early morning, and spend the whole day out in nature with the dogs. You will be mushing through Arctic landscapes and stunning sceneries, always having the guides close in case you need assistance.

When you come back and the dogs have been cared for and fed, you can fire up the oven in the cabin, let the experience sink in, and enjoy this last night at the forest kennel.

Day 3: Slow morning, breakfast and goodbye

The next morning, wake up refreshed and enjoy your breakfast. Say farewell to all our friendly dogs, if you can and if they will let you leave.
