A Scenic Journey to the Top of Europe
Join us for an unforgettable Arctic adventure, starting in the charming town of Honningsvåg, where the Arctic meets the sea. This carefully crafted tour will take you to the world-famous North Cape, one of the northernmost points in Europe, with opportunities to experience stunning viewpoints, Arctic wildlife, and the traditional Sami way of life.
Your Tour Begins: Meet us 20 minutes before departure at the Harbour Tourist Information Centre in Honningsvåg for a smooth start. If you're arriving by cruise ship, simply mention your arrival in your booking, and we will ensure you don’t miss any part of the experience.
Wildlife and Scenic Viewpoints: As we travel through the Arctic landscape, keep an eye out for wildlife, including birds and reindeer, which freely roam the region. These majestic animals offer a unique glimpse into the untouched nature of the Arctic.
✔ Panoramic Ocean Viewpoint: We’ll stop at a scenic viewpoint with breathtaking fjord views. This is your first chance to see the North Cape and the historic Hornvika, the original gateway to this famous destination.
✔ North Cape Visit: Upon arrival, you will have 1 to 1.5 hours of free time to explore at your own pace. Visit the iconic Globe Monument, take in the dramatic views from the cliffs, and explore the museum and movie theatre to learn more about the history and significance of this legendary site. Entrance to Nordkapphallen is not included but can be purchased on-site.
✔ Meet a Sami Family (Seasonal): If in season, we will visit a local Sami family, where you will learn about their traditional lifestyle and culture. Get a chance to see reindeer up close and hear stories about how the Sami people have lived in this region for generations.
Please note: This part of the tour is only available when the reindeer have arrived.
Final Stop in Honningsvåg: Before concluding the tour, we will stop at a preserved fishing facility near the harbour. Here, you can explore a photo gallery, browse for souvenirs, and reflect on the rich history of Arctic fishing communities.
