Sandnessjøen: 2-day boat trip on the Helgeland coast

Join us on a two-day journey through Helgeland's beautiful archipelago, combining history, culture, and nature with one overnight stay.

Visit Skogsholmen and Skålvær, learn about local aquaculture, enjoy nature, and explore Etcetera – Botaniske Utskeielser with local food experiences.

Thursday evening includes dinner, hot tub, and bryggedans at Havkanten Gjestehus; the tour departs and returns to Sandnessjøen.

Boat transport on both days is included, ensuring easy travel between destinations. Included on Skogsholmen are lunch, a guided tour, and engaging storytelling about the island’s history.

A guided tour of the local aquaculture facility is included, giving insight into modern fish farming. In the evening, a two-course dinner is included, followed by a relaxing soak in the hot tub and traditional bryggedans at Havkanten Gjestehus.

Accommodation in a double room at Havkanten Gjestehus on Husøy/Herøy is included, noting that rooms do not have private bathrooms. The next day, a guided tour of Skålvær is included, along with lunch at Augustbryggo on Herøy.

A visit to Etcetera – Botanical Delights on Herøy is also included, offering a unique and colorful experience of local flora.

Bring warm, waterproof clothing, gloves, and sturdy shoes for time on deck. Layered clothing and a hat help stay comfortable in changing weather. A small backpack, sunscreen, and camera are also useful.
