Begin at the Saltenguidene Husky Camp in Røkland/Evenesdal, where you meet the sled dogs, learn essential mushing skills, and prepare for your expedition. Travel through remote forests, frozen lakes, and national park landscapes, experiencing the rhythm and teamwork of dog sledding in a spectacular winter environment.
Stay in cozy wilderness tents or cabins depending on the group and conditions. All meals, sledding equipment, winter clothing, and professional guidance are included, allowing you to participate safely and confidently while immersed in Norway’s snowy landscapes, wildlife, and natural beauty.
This is a guided active winter adventure suitable for anyone in good general physical condition who is comfortable with extended outdoor activity in cold weather. Ice fishing and other wilderness activities are included as part of the program, though timing and sequence may vary depending on snow and weather conditions.

What to bring
It can be cold in northern Norway, so we recommend everyone to bring warm clothes, preferably several layers of wool. In addition, warm shoes, hat and mittens are essential.
