What to expect?
Børvasstindane Mountains are the signature mountains of Bodø. Åselidalen, "The Hidden Valley", cuts into the two mountain ridges Åselitindan Ridge and Falkflågtindan Ridge. The valley was carved out by glaciers some hundred thousands years ago and is surrounded by jagged peaks, all above 1,000 metres. A perfect place for a hiking day trip in Northern Norway. The trip also includes a visit to Saltstraumen, the strongest tidewater current in the world.
