If you want a common thread from the fishing field to the restaurant table, this is your opportunity! Fishing in Helgeland varies depending on the season and time of year.

In spring, summer and autumn, coastal cod, saithe, mackerel and tusk are more common. You will receive good guidance from our crew on the trip, and you will get a taste of how Helgeland fishing takes place through stories and narration alongside the actual fishing.

We help with the catch and deliver it to one of our exotic kitchens along this tour's chosen route. Here we show how it is handled with gutting and filleting on board. The chefs are ready to receive your catch which will be part of your dinner in the evening.

We set off from Havkanten Guesthouse, and go to the fishing grounds that we know from experience can provide a good catch depending on the time of year and season. We estimate about 3 hours for the actual fishing trip and the rest for preparations and on to a delicious meal that you have put your own touch on.

With us you will find all the safety equipment such as life jackets and warm hiking suits for use outdoors. If it rains, we will find rainwear if you don't have this with you.
