What to expect?
A snowshoe walk means to be in nature, to be a part of the landscape and to breath its atmosphere. Snowshoe experiences represent the best way to enjoy the beauty of the landscape which sorrounds us.
We arrange small groups, max 8 adults. You will be accompanied by a professional guide who will decide the best trail for you according to the weather conditions.
Transport and snowshoes are included. At the end of the excursion, we will take a rest and taste typical Norwegian biscuits and chocolate. The journey concludes as we return to our starting point and ensure you're safely dropped off at your hotel.
Itinerary
10.00am: Meet & greet with the guide and general introduction to the excursion
10.15am: Departure by minivan to Kongsmarka, the wild area of Svolvær, in the north. Kongsmarka is a green and wild area, surrounded by forests and frozen lakes and wildlife.
10.30am: Start of your snowshoe trek. During the activity, you will time to stop to enjoy the landscape, to take pictures, to enjoy the beauty of the Arctic nature
12.30am: Last stop and time at disposal to taste a good cup of local coffee or tea offered by our guide.
1.00pm: Back to the starting point.
1.15pm: Drop-off at the hotel booked in Svolvær and Kabelvåg, or at Svolvær Tourist Information
