What to expect?
This seven-day journey connects three regions of Northern Norway: the Lofoten Islands, Senja, and the Arctic city of Tromsø. The trip begins in Svolvær where you stay for three nights. During your stay you join a guided photo tour across the Lofoten Islands with stops at fishing villages, beaches, and coastal viewpoints.
Another highlight is a cruise to Trollfjord by electric ship. The fjord is located between steep mountains and can only be reached by boat.
From Svolvær you travel by coach to Senja, Norway’s second largest island. The overnight stay is in the western Senja region in villages such as Gryllefjord, Steinfjord, or Mefjord.
The journey continues north to Tromsø. During your stay you explore the surrounding fjords on guided excursions including a fjord adventure with lunch and an evening cruise by silent electric ship.
The trip ends with departure from Tromsø Airport.
Day 1: Arrive in Svolvær
Arrive in Svolvær and make your way to your centrally located accommodation. Check in for a three-night stay and spend the rest of the day exploring the harbour area and town centre.
Day 2: Explore the Lofoten Islands on a Photo Tour
Join a guided photo tour from Svolvær. Travel across the Lofoten Islands by minivan with stops at fishing villages, viewpoints, and coastal locations. Your guide shares local insights and photography tips along the route.
Day 3: Cruise to Trollfjord
Board a silent electric ship in Svolvær and cruise toward Trollfjord. The route passes narrow fjord waters and coastal islands. On board you have access to indoor lounges and outdoor viewing decks while a guide shares information about the region.
Day 4: Travel by Coach from Svolvær to Senja
Travel by long-distance coach from Svolvær to Senja. The journey crosses coastal landscapes and fjords of Northern Norway. After arrival, check in to your accommodation for one night in the Senja region, located in Gryllefjord, Steinfjord, or Mefjord. Spend the evening at leisure.
Day 5: Travel by Coach from Senja to Tromsø
Travel by coach from Senja to Tromsø. After arrival, check in to your centrally located hotel for a two-night stay. Spend the evening exploring the harbour and city centre.
Day 6: Explore Tromsø’s Fjords and Cruise Under the Midnight Sun
Join a guided fjord adventure from Tromsø with lunch included. The tour travels through coastal fjords where seabirds and marine wildlife are often seen.
In the evening, board a silent electric ship for a midnight sun cruise through the fjords surrounding Tromsø while learning about Arctic nature and coastal life.
Day 7: Depart from Tromsø
After breakfast, make your way to Tromsø Airport for your onward journey.
