Discover Lofoten’s wild beauty aboard Arctic Queen
Join us on an unforgettable journey from Svolvær to the legendary Trollfjord, one of Norway’s most dramatic natural wonders. On board Arctic Queen, our elegant 44-foot yacht, you can experience Lofoten’s magic at your own pace: deep blue fjords, the open sea, and steep mountains rising straight from the water.
The first photo shows Arctic Princess gliding quietly into the narrow entrance of Trollfjord, where steep granite walls rise from the sea and the Arctic light colors the landscape in soft tones of gold and blue.
This trip is more than ordinary sightseeing. It is a journey into the heart of Northern Norway. As we leave Svolvær harbor, we pass small fishing villages, quiet bays, and untouched landscapes that have inspired Arctic explorers and artists for generations.
When the sea eagles appear, everything seems to pause. Their wings spread wide above the cliffs as they circle effortlessly over the fjord. You will have the chance to watch them up close, wild and powerful.
If you like, we can stop for a bit of light fishing. Arctic Queen carries simple gear, and with some luck we may catch cod or pollock fresh from the sea. If we do, we will prepare it on board so you can enjoy an authentic taste of Lofoten.
As we approach the narrow entrance to Trollfjord, surrounded by towering peaks, the atmosphere becomes almost unreal. It is a place where silence and grandeur meet, where nature dominates, and where old stories feel alive.
On the return to Svolvær, we cruise slowly while you enjoy coffee, tea, and local snacks on deck or in the cozy saloon. From the flybridge, you can enjoy wide views of the fjords and islands, giving you a front-row seat to one of Norway’s most beautiful landscapes.
