Experience the true Arctic on this guided snowmobiling excursion through the landscapes of the Lyngen Alps. Take the Arctic Route coach from Scandic Ishavshotel in central Tromsø and meet us at the Svendsby stop. From there we take you by minivan to Lyngen. This scenic transfer includes a short ferry ride and stunning views!

What to expect?
Prepare to snowmobile in scenic surroundings! Upon arrival, you will receive snowmobiling equipment, including suits, boots, and helmets. Our experienced guide will then give you safety instructions and show you how to operate the snowmobile. Enjoy the ride as your guide leads you through the diverse terrain of Lyngen.
After the ride, we return to the basecamp for a warm expedition meal. Then, we start the drive back to Tromsø where you will be arriving at 4:00 p.m.

Meeting Time: 08:30 am (for departure at 08:45 am)
Look for A big red bus labeled "Arctic Route."
The bus and ferry are included in the price. The bus is booked under your booking name. Guides will be outside the red buses to assist you in finding the correct bus.
The bus takes you to the ferry at Breivikeidet. Walk on board the ferry, and we will receive you on the other side at Svensby and bring you to the base camp.

Note: A valid driver's license is required to operate the snowmobile. Children can go with their parents.
What to bring
Please remember to bring gloves and a balaclava (both are highly recommended), along with warm and active clothing such as a fleece, thermal underwear and woolen socks to stay comfortable. Be sure to pack a water bottle to stay hydrated, and don’t forget your driver’s license if you will be driving.
