What to expect?
We set sail for the outer coast of Norway as the sun slowly dips towards the horizon, where nothing but the Barents sea separates us from the north pole and the sky is unobstructed.
Depending on the day, we can take either the ‘south’ or ‘northern’ route along the Kvaløya coastline, which is sporadically dotted with villages, idyllic boathouses, and fish drying racks.
While we enjoy the midnight sun/sunset, we keep an eye out for the birdlife that is especially active and lively in the summer months. One particular bird that we can sometimes observe is the puffin, which nests on a few remote islands along the Norwegian coast between May and August.
Throughout the evening, our passionate guides will share stories and insights about life in the arctic, the landscape, and other interesting sites along the way.
