Tromsø: 7-Day Holiday Package Senja Arctic Coast Journey

This seven-day journey connects Tromsø with the island of Senja in Northern Norway. The trip begins in Tromsø, located above the Arctic Circle. After arrival, you have time to explore the harbour and city centre.

During the next two days you join guided fjord experiences from the city. One tour travels through coastal fjords where wildlife such as seabirds and sea eagles are often seen. Lunch is included. In the evening you sail through the fjords on an electric boat during the midnight sun period.

Another tour focuses on maritime history and coastal life. The cruise takes place aboard a traditional wooden boat with refreshments served on board.

The journey continues by coach to Hamn in Senja. The island of Senja is known for its coastline, fishing communities, and mountain landscapes. After arrival you spend the evening at the waterfront property with access to the outdoor hot tub and sauna.

The following day includes a wildlife fjord safari by boat through the archipelago surrounding Senja. Later you can explore the area by e-bike.

From Senja you return by coach to Tromsø for the final night before departure from the Arctic city.

Day 1: Arrive in Tromsø
Arrive in Tromsø and make your way to your centrally located hotel. Check in for a three-night stay. Spend time exploring the harbour area and the compact city centre.

Day 2: Explore the Fjords and Cruise Under the Midnight Sun
Join a guided fjord adventure from Tromsø. Travel through coastal areas and fjords while your guide shares information about the region, wildlife, and local life. Lunch is served during the tour.
In the evening, board an electric boat for a cruise under the midnight sun. Sail through the fjords around Tromsø while learning about Arctic nature and coastal traditions.

Day 3: Cruise the Fjords and Discover Maritime History
Spend the afternoon on a fjord cruise aboard a traditional wooden boat. The guide introduces maritime history and coastal life in Northern Norway. Warm drinks and Norwegian fish cakes are served on board.

Day 4: Travel to Senja and Relax by the Fjord
Travel by long-distance coach from Tromsø to Hamn in Senja. The route passes fjords, islands, and coastal communities. After arrival, check in at Hamn i Senja for a two-night stay. In the evening, enjoy time in the outdoor hot tub overlooking the fjord with access to the sauna.

Day 5: Explore Senja by Wildlife Safari and E-Bike
Join a guided wildlife fjord safari by boat through the islands and coastal waters around Senja. After the tour, a hot drink is served at the harbour restaurant. Later, explore the area around Hamn in Senja by e-bike with a half-day rental.

Day 6: Travel from Senja to Tromsø
Travel by coach from Senja back to Tromsø. After arrival, check in to your centrally located hotel for your final night. Spend the evening at leisure in the city.

Day 7: Depart from Tromsø
After breakfast, make your way to Tromsø Airport for your onward journey.
