There are two entrances. One is by the buses and one is between the Terminal and the Clarion Edge. Our guides will be where the buses are ready to depart to camp. If you do go to the wrong entrances, walk through the terminal to the other entrance and you will find us there.
Please look out for our pick up guides who will be wearing blue 'Tromso Arctic Reindeer' jackets.
We want all our guests to enjoy the whole experience, so please arrive with time to spare so we can ensure a prompt departure of 10.00 / 13.00.
Itinerary
For guests booked on our morning tour, departure time is 10.00
For guests booked on our afternoon tour, departure time is 13.00
30-35-minute bus drive to the reindeer camp
Feeding of wild reindeer around the camp
Guests can test lasso throwing (but not on real reindeer)
Hot drinks (tea, coffee, hot chocolate) around the fire inside a warm candlelit gamme (traditional Sami hut)
Warm lunch of bidos (a traditional Sami stew) with more hot drinks and cookies. A vegetarian / vegan / gluten free option is also possible.
Storytelling of Sami culture
A joik performance (traditional Sami folk song)
30-35 min bus ride back to Tromsø city centre
Morning trip back in Tromsø at around 14.00/14.15
Afternoon trip back in Tromsø at around 17.00/17.15

WHAT IS INCLUDED: Transfer, guiding, storytelling and joik, warm lunch, coffee and snacks
WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING: Warm clothes (at least two layers), gloves and hat, good winter boots
Please note that if you are traveling with a small child, the buses only have a few booster seats. If you require a baby seat, we recommend you to book a taxi with the proper seat.
