Vip North Cape - Wheelchair accessible car - Private tour

Have a private trip for you and your company alone; a personal guide, a private car, and a VIP experience (therefore you can make only 1 booking, but the booking is valid for 8 people max) 

Our guide will pick you up in Honningsvåg to transport you to Skarsvåg, the northernmost fishing village in the world. On the journey you will get to witness great nature and opportunity to see some of the arctic wildlife, like the reindeer, birdlife and scenic viewing points on the way. 

Upon arrival in Skarsvåg, we will have a walk trough the world’s northernmost fishing village and its beautiful remoteness. You will get to see the local day-to-day lives, as we stop by the fish factory to get an impression of the lives of the fishermen. We learn about their jobs and if we are lucky, we will get to see the fishing boats deliver the catch of the day. The guide will tell stories about this remote Nordic life that is dependent on fishery and tourism alone. 

While on the visit we will learn the traditional ways of preparing fish & you will get to taste our dried stockfish. In our outdoor aquarium, we will meet the majestic live king crabs. Here you will learn about these fantastic creatures, you will get to hold them, and take pictures of the experience. 

Then we head towards the North cape Experience centre. Here we are very fortunate to display the photo gallery by award-winner Frits Solvang – that captured  the town of Skarsvåg in the 20th century. The gallery also includes display of old traditional fishing artifacts used by the local fishermen.  

Upon return, in our traditional Laavu or seaside restaurant, you will be served a delicious plate filled with fresh seafood and the international delicacy, King crab.  

Then we drive up to the famous North cape, enjoying a spectacular upwards road with beautiful views. Upon arrival, we have plenty of time to guide you around at the cape to make sure you do not miss out on any of the highlights of the cape. You will receive a certificate to celebrate this unique visit, combined with a glass of sparkling alcohol or non-alcohol if preferred. After the guided walk you will also receive some personal time to adventure yourself around the cape and enjoy the views before we take you back to Honningsvåg. 

The time for this activity will be arranged together after or before booking.
